It seems like they've been doing it more and more in the 15/30 game at canterbury.

I really don't mind to be honest. I think I like it better anyhow. More room for multi-way pots. /edit - and less room to sit. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

Maybe I should amend my statement to "limit hold'em with 2/1 blinds sucks as a 10 handed game".

Yeah, the 2 times I was there this week when one of the games folded they would make the other game 10 handed until all of the players from the other game had gotten on, at which time it would go back to 9 handed. So I guess I overstated a little.

What does 10 handed vs 9 handed have to do with the blind structure?

You mean as opposed to shorthanded, right? Agreed. 10 handed is so systematized.

Mostly I think that 10 handed is a more-than-expected bad game than as compared to 9 handed. If that makes any sense. Certainly, a tightish (very little open limping) 10 handed game vs a 9 handed game is significantly worse of a game than a tightish 9 handed game vs a 8 handed game. Got it?

the games up here in canada are 11 handed.

10 handed would be fine with me.
