A QQ hand from tonight. It was a pretty basic heads up hand and I think I played it as well as I could.
Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is MP2 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. UTG calls, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 folds, MP1 folds, Hero raises, MP3 folds, CO folds, Button folds, SB calls, BB folds, UTG calls. I'm capping the flop. If SB then bets the turn, I would raise it there too. If SB 3-bets the turn, I would call down.
SB may have a set or a flopped straight, but could also have AT. You have a very good hand, I see no reason to lay this down. Don't play scared, this will loose you money in the long run. |

Thanks for the tip.
Yeah I guess at the time I was more worried about two pair but as I read more about poker I realize that I need to play this stronger. And in case you're wondering I did lose to a flopped straight. Ah well such is a loose table! |
