Flopping a fullhouse
UB 10/20 (6 handed)
I openraise from the CO with 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. BB, a total wacko, calls in the BB. Flop: 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] BB bets. I raise. BB 3bets. I call. Turn: 4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] BB bets. I raise. BB calls. River: 2 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] BB bets. I raise. BB 3bets. I call. How'd I do? |

Re: Flopping a fullhouse
Any reason not to cap the flop? I'd be tempted to cap the river and see BBs two overcards for 888 K or A high.

Re: Flopping a fullhouse
allows him to get another bet in on the turn that he probably would have not gotten had he capped.

Re: Flopping a fullhouse
You did crappy. He had a pair of 7's. Hard to get away from, but you could be laying down a winner to TJ as well.
And the answer is......... |

Re: Flopping a fullhouse
Not sure I like the river raise. At this point I think that even the thickest-headed opponents know you have a pair here (and you are not folding), yet he is still raising...
I dont think you lose much just calling the river here, but I could be wrong. fsuplayer |
