Default Poker on Long Island

Just wanted to let any Long Islanders out there know, that the first Friday of each month, the Sons of Italy in Oceanside has a Vegas night where they have 2/4 limit Hold'em and a 1-3 spread limit game.

Not real poker tables (big round tables) but they do provide a (non-professional) dealer. They rake a buck a hand I believe. I went in June, and the players were friendly and quite loose.

They start at 8 PM and end at midnight so it's not real long, but anyone close by might want to check it out.

Does anyone know of any other regular games or card rooms on or near LI?

There is a poker room that just opened up in Babylon. Not that surprising since thats where John Gotti Junior lived, and there are lots of wannabees living in the neighboring town Deer Park.
