Default First day at the limit tables

Been playing about 6 months and finally decided today to stop into Borders and pick up HPFAP, skim over it, and play some LL on Party. I've tried to read a lot of posts on here and pick up some basic limit knowledge (I've mostly played NL) and then skimmed most of HPFAP before hitting the 1/2 tables. I'm definitely planning to read the book a few more times, but just curious about the six hands, which were most of the major pots I was in. I'm hoping that I utilized some concepts well, like smooth calling on the flop to increase the opportunity for a twice-as-large raise on the turn. I know there are mistakes in there, as well as some other lesser hands where I can spot my mistakes easily enough.

Default Re: First day at the limit tables

Your post-flop play looks very strong to me on these hands. You are consistantly putting pressure on your opponents and you aren't overly afraid of scare cards.

The first two hands I don't like your preflop play. You definately want to be in late position to play J7s. I think open-limping from EP is going to lose money for you long term especially at more aggressive tables. In hand 2, I think you should fold JTs to an early position raise. That being said, I like raising and taking control of the hand if you decide to play. I just don't think this should be default.
