My revenge on jw for door # 3
Three guys go into a hotel, there is 1 room left, they have to share..manager charges them $30...they pay $10 each.
A few minutes later the manager realizes he overcharged them $5 so he sends the bellboy to the room to give them their due change. The bellboy realizes they cant split $5 three ways so he pockets $2 for himself, and gives each man back $1. SOOOOOOOO....the men paid $9 each..$9 times 3 is $27...$27 plus the $2 the bellboy took makes $29 from the original $30..Where did the other dollar go???? |

Re: My revenge on jw for door # 3
First of all, you're still wrong about that problem. I'll prove it later.
Secondly, heres your answer: "$27 plus the $2 the bellboy took" is incorrect as the $2 that the bellboy has is part of the $27 they paid not separate. The manager has $25(he had $30, then gave the bellboy $5...30-5=25), and the bellboy has $2. The $2+ the $25 is equal to the $27 that the men paid. The men each have $1 plus whatever other amount they happen to have on them. 3 men multiplied by $1 is $3. So $3(the men have)+$2(the bellboy has)+$25(the manager has)=$30. |
