Finally, after 75,000 hands I get my first straight flush!
I have played 47,000 hands on the NL$25 tables.. NO straight flush.
I have played 28,000 hands on the NL$50 tables.. And still NO straight flush. But yesterday I moved up to the NL$100 tables and what do you think happens!? Finally I get my first straight flush!! I came soooo close this weekend. The results worked out just as well. Get dealt K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] two off the button. Everyone folds to me. I made a modest raise for 3x the BB. Small blind reraises to a total of 5x the BB. I call.
Flop comes A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Small blind bets the pot, I call. Turn is a blank. Small blind bets the pot again, I call. River is another blank. Small blind goes all in. All told, small blind is in for for a total of 70x the BB. I call. Win with nut flush against.... trip aces. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

649,739 hands to the first royal flush, unless of course, you are lucky.
Cool! Then it's only about 25 months or about 2 years before I will get that one..! [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] (I get in about 20,000-30,000 hands per month)
