Default Stars turbo hand - 99 - bad fold?

Ok,

This one troubled me afterwards, the flop play, how bad? No read on the MP player other than he seemed solid - was not a turbo maniac.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t150 (7 handed)

BB (t2345)
Hero (t2180)
MP1 (t360)
MP2 (t918)
CO (t4800)
Button (t1605)
SB (t1292)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
Hero raises to t400, 2 folds, CO calls t400, 2 folds, BB calls t250,

Flop: (t1275) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets t600, CO raises to t1200, BB folds, Hero folds.

Final Pot: t3075
Main Pot: t2475 (t2475), won by CO.
Pot 2: t600 (t600), returned to CO.

Was my underbet on the pot weak, should I have pushed? Only other thing to note is that he hit the raise button very quickly.

Yes. Push on the flop, because a pot bet is more than 40% of your stack.

People who raise much more quickly sometimes than they do at other times are similar to people who overbet the pot, in my opinion. It seems to indicate either a pure bluff or a hand that the person is very unsure of for another reason. The problem is that while an overbet can be a huge tell in the lower games, a very fast raise really can't be relied upon.
