Default Taking notes - need advice

I have just began to takes notes on the players that I see regularly at the tables that I play at. What are some things that need to be noticed?

I think the most important thing to note manually are the hands that people raise or 3 bet before the flop with.

I dont, however, make hardly any notes. If you have poker tracker there is a feature to export stats about players, use that. If you dont have poker tracker, get it.

The notes I take are more for player type than anything else:
<ul type="square">
LAP
TAP
LPP
TPP[/list]
