Default My successful return to poker

I took a lot of time off to finish up my movie (www.pizzathemovie.com shameless plug) probably 7 months or so.

I watched part of the 2004 World Series on ESPN yesterday and felt the urge to jump back into it. So I got in a 50+5 NL Hold'em at pokerstars. I did very well. Played well for the most part, even though I did make a few mistakes, and of course I did get very lucky on one particular hand to stay in (AJs versus AK & AQ), anyhow, I ended up 3rd

Yay me. Anyhow, it was a pretty thrilling rush, just playing again. So I'm an addict, but at least I'm in good company.

(I think the previous best I did in a large online tournament was 5th)

Oh, and I had a good shot at first, but I overplayed a two or three bluffs, and even then, when it was three way, all about even, I got JJ in the small blind and eneded up heads up against the BB, who with his A9off, caught an A on the turn.

Oh well
