Gotta do it. Looks like BB whiffed on the turn.

Of course, maybe he whiffed with JJ

Brutal one. I would probably call and expect to lose quite often, but I'm not laying down a set getting nearly 10:1 on the river in an 18BB pot against a couple of unknown Partiers. It would make me sick if I folded and the button turned over some random two pair and the BB JJ/TT. More likely though, I would stab my monitor with a pencil after the button showed 98 and the BB AsKs .

I know it is a ginormous pot, but this really seems like one of those "this board scares me as much as it scares you" kind of things.

And BB is not scared.

Is betting the turn here and folding to any raises/check-raises terrible?

He rivered the set, so he has basically no outs of you assume he is against a flush.

I think you're misreading the hand.

I'm with Coilean on this one. I think you have to call with 15 BB in the pot. It's more likely that BB has JJ, AA or KK than AsKs (is check-raising the flop with AsKs in this situation a good play? -- I'm not sure, but he'd be more likely to check raise with AA, KK or JJ). The button likely could have JT, QJ or possibly even KQ and is possibly trying to get it heads up on the end after he missed his straight. If the button made his flush on the turn, it was a hell of a check (and the same can be said for the BB).
