Default 4 color decks

I just found out about the 4 color decks on party with each suit being a different color. What do people think about these?

Wow...only no vote so far. I am a bluff old traditionalist, I guess. I can't STAND 4 color decks. It just makes it feel like I am playing freecell or something.

Freecell uses 2 colored decks.

I agree, I tried playing with them and I hated it, thats just me though as there is only 3 no votes, I think anyone who hadnt played poker before playing online would like them, because it adds some ease for them to chase flushes.

I like em...

I started using them one night when I was playing two games...one NL, and one Omaha..

I found that with 4 cards in the deck it made it easier for me to assess my Omaha situation suit wise -

live, I don't care...but online, I'm almost always going 4 color now...very kewl to see cards quickly and not make one of those "I thought I had two spades" mistakes when the 3 one comes on the river -

having said that...Planet poker has two seperate 4 color decks...the standard Mike Caro version and another one...and boy does that other one suck....Green and blue compliment red and black well tho...

looks like im in the minority here, but I don't use them. Don't really see the point as I never have a problem distinguishing between the suits anyway

I used to hate them, but then I tried it out for longer than five minutes and now I can't go back.

Before I used them I would sometimes misread my flush related hands/boards. Now I don't.

Also, it greatly helps with determining the flush situation a little quicker, very handy for multitabling.

I started using it when playing 7 card stud... makes it a lot easier to see which cards are dead if have 3 to a flush after the ante.
