Default Need BB advice for small stakes games.

I'm playing .50/1 on the internet. On the big blind, a frequent scenario is that 5-6 players limp in before. In this situation, what range of hands should I be raising with? (Assume loose passive on all streets.)

You'll get better responses to this in the microlimits forum. They cover 1/2 on down.

I rarely raise in the blinds. When I do I only do it with cards that I don't mind leading out with for the rest of the hand. AA-JJ, AKs, AQs etc.

This might not be IDEAL play according to some books, (HEFAP comes to mind) but for a newbie (which I'm assuming you are if your playing .50/$1) it should keep you out of too much trouble.

I personally tend to believe that people overplay cards (and raise way too often) in the blinds.

my two cents
