Default a-k in the small blind

3 limpers in a 2/4 or 3/6 limit game, party poker/idiots...you're in the small blind with AKoff...bb will likely call...do you raise or limp in the small blind
here?????? why?
also, if you had 1010 there, what would your play be. big debate here folks, help me out.

Raise, both hands. If it's raised before you and you have AK, you'd be well off to 3-bet. It's a question of pot equity, which basically means, you probably have the best hand (especially with AK) so you'll win enough of the time to make a preflop raise profitable.

ok, fair enough with the AK... these guys agree with you...but i counter the argument by saying, why not raise there with 1010, a better hand,(at the time) and also a chance of being the better hand at the end ofthe board.(in terms of percentages preflop). please try and distinguish between no limit and limit, as well as high/low games.
and try to keep in mind that these guys this post is about are tight players and willmost likely not call a player down with ace/king high...in other words, they will probably dump without top pair... thanks

There is no debate.

Raise and raise.

Why, for advice there too? I think 3/6 qualifys as "small stakes".

situation 1)Raise

situation 2)Raise

These are especially correct if we're talking Party.(which you stated is the site in ?)
