Default ITM ok, but a severe lack of 1sts

I'm working my way through my first set of 100 $10+1 SNGs and I'm snagging a bit. My ITM is at about 40% at tournament 30, with one 1st, three 2nds, and eight 3rds. But because of the lack of firsts, my ROI is slightly negative. I've studied AleoMagnus's guide, but if anybody else has some good "top 3" strategies that might help me I would be grateful. Thanks.

One question to ask yourself (perhaps even worth keeping stats on) is how many chips you have when you get down to the final 3. If it is always 3rd place, perhaps your problem lies in your bubble play as well?

NO JACK NO JACK NO JACK.

Sorry, really funny post in the MTT section i think.
