Why hasn\'t America had an official \"WAR\" in 60 years?
We have had police actions, conflicts, invasions and camphaigns for freedom.
The only Wars have been the Cold War and the 'war on terror'. Why is that? |

[/ QUOTE ] Neither the Cold War nor the 'War on Terror' involved an actual declaration of war. It is my opinion that when a conflict is actually a "war", there are more rules that apply. Police actions, conflicts, invasions, campaigns, etc. allow the administration in power alot more freedom to act as they wish. Just my observation. |
