Default after pot bet call on the flop, KK turns into a set...how to play?

Flop: ($8.75) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="blue">(4 players)</font>
<font color="CC3333">UTG bets $0.5</font>, UTG+2 calls $0.50, MP3 calls $0.50, <font color="CC3333">Hero raises to $10</font>, UTG folds, UTG+2 calls $9.50, MP3 folds.

UTG+2 checks, <font color="CC3333">Hero bets $5</font>, UTG+2 calls $5.

River: ($39.75) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="blue">(2 players)</font>
UTG+2 checks, <font color="CC3333">Hero bets $8</font>, UTG+2 calls $7.95 (All-In).

Final Pot: $55.70
<font color="green">Main Pot: $55.65, between UTG+2 and Hero.</font> &gt; <font color="white">Pot won by Hero ($55.65).</font>
<font color="green">Pot 2: $0.04, returned to Hero.</font>

Results in white below: <font color="white">
UTG+2 shows Qh Jd (one pair, jacks).
Hero shows Ks Kh (three of a kind, kings).
Outcome: Hero wins $55.69. </font>

my thinking is to try and bet the turn as if the King is a scare card to my QQ or TPTK etc. then on the river, i figured he'd have such a little stack, he'd call teh rest of it off no matter what he had due to the pot size. thoughts?

It's fine. I think you're both going all in regardless of how you played it. Betting half his stack on the turn and the other half on the river is generally better than letting him get away from it by pushing him too hard on the turn I think.
