Default BB special?

Opponent is very loose. He has been running really hot with crap cards, and he's shown the ability to bluff a lot. He called my preflop raise with 85o vs my AA and flopped trips. I should add that villian has made a few fishy calls.

How do you handle this situation?

I'd just call. Villian's range could be anything, I'd guess here he either has the nuts and you're beat, or he's bluffing and won't call any more. The big overbet against someone in the bb looks like he's hoping you have something to pay off his straight. My 2 cents, difficult decision against this opponnet.

If he's really that bad, I would 3-bet here and consider calling a push. I've seen a lot of donkeys slow play a set or big two pair down to the river like this and then massively overplay the river. I think his hand range is much wider than just 86 or a bluff here on the river.

If he's such a fish, he'd probably play two pair or a set identically, and would definitely call a reraise on the river with one of these hands.

You're only worried about one hand, when he could be holding a fairly wide range of hands that he probably thinks are unbeatable. I'd say this is an easy reraise. If he comes back over the top, then perhaps just call, but don't just flat call one raise with the second nuts in this situation.

If villian has a wide hand range here, you're losing an astronomical amount of value by calling his raise.

Call if you hate money-- you're losing to exactly 1 hand.

Default Results and thoughts...

Against most opponents I would have flat called, but this guy was pretty loose/fishy. However, he hasn't been known to slow play hands either, so I had to put him on something that he likes that he could beat. Well, I reraised, he put me all-in and I called. He had the nuts.

Can I fold to his push?

Thanks for your thoughts?
