Just an untested idea....

When/If I ever get to 4-tabling I'm going to run them in pairs. I'll start 2, when they get to the start of level 4, I'll start 2 more. That way I'll I should have a pair of low-level tables to play ABC and two tables to concentrate on .

I'm just a rookie. I could be wrong.

you'll also find that the tables rarely stay in sync. Also, if you bust out of one earlyish (and you will) then you've got an empty spot and you aren't playing.

Once you start 4-tabling, you'll find LESS than 4 tables is too slow to keep you entertained. Or you'll find that 4 is just too much.

I totally agree with that I just started 4 tabling and if I try to play just one I get really bored.

I usually try to fire them right away, but if I have one or 2 tight bubble/ITM situations I will usually just concentrate on those.

I agree...I am actually playing 4 right now as I type this. I am waiting on the damn video card to get here so I can start 8 tabling...maybe I will actually have to concentrate.

If I bust in Level 1, I ususally restart one, otherwise I wait til their all done. IMO paying attention to the ebb and flow of bubble/shorthanded situations and minimizing post-suckout-subtle-tilt factor are two reasons in favor of limiting your restarting of SNGs.

Of course, once in a while I violate the above rule, and that's usually when it's time to take a break.

Same here. I like to keep them in sets of four, but it seems like a waste not to start up another one when I bust in level 1. Nothing wrong with an ocasional "set of five".

I had another question about multitabling and moving up in limits. When you guys are trying to move up do you just run like three of your normal sngs and one of the higher limit? and slowly add more of the limit that you want to move up to or do you move up all at once?

I think adding one of the higher limit is the best way to go. You kind of get a feel for the higher level, you don't put your bankroll at risk, and you can build up your confidence a little bit early one. Then you go 2/2, 3/1, then all 4, etc. - assuming your bankroll is plenty healthy to play the higher level.
