Re: 77, In which all postflop streets get capped.
This summer, I played 3 tables of 5/10 6max and 1 5/10 or 3/6 full. That's ~420 hands an hour - I logged about 4 hours a day. It was rare that I saw this kind of action.

Re: 77, In which all postflop streets get capped.
I'm not saying I see these kind of hands all the time, but set over set doesn't generate a ton of action in your 6-max games?

Re: 77, In which all postflop streets get capped.
Well, I think set over set is pretty clear from the turn and river action.

Re: 77, In which all postflop streets get capped.
Judging from the river action, I thought 78 was more likely.

Re: 77, In which all postflop streets get capped.
87/88 vs 22 is 50/50... 3 combinations of each. a LAG will play 22 like the nuts, and obviously the nuts as the nuts

Re: 77, In which all postflop streets get capped.
what is the golden rule for cold calling a pf raise with a medium or baby pp? how many do you need to see the flop with you?

Re: 77, In which all postflop streets get capped.
when you're going to get action like this you don't need many. pocket pairs in aggressive games are gold

Re: 77, In which all postflop streets get capped.
my aversion to coldcalling raises pf (besides with the occasional pp in CO or on button after many in the pot) has prevented me from makeing this play.
i need to get with this... hmm. |
