New guy intro
Just want to introduce myself to the forum. Live in Connecticut. PLaying NLH tourneys for 2 years. LOve this forum's content and plan to post when time permits.
Read the Sklansky "theory of POker, hold 'em poker and advanced 7 stud. I don't play online as there are local tourney's every night of the week here in local pubs etc. (for now, the Attorney GEneral of CT is trying to put a stop to these games)plus Foxwoods poker room occaisionally. I have played qualifiers for WPT here along w/ the NEw England Poker Classis at Foxwoods. NEver gotten into the WPT main or in the $ yet at the NEPC. THis years NEPC $300 NLH had 1,087 entries. I finished around 325. I was happy for first time out in a BIG field. I am usually around the $ at the end in the 25-75 player fields. UP a little bit this year as more oponents w/ bad play have made it harder to play and win. If you saw the American POker Championship on Fox Wednesday night you saw my friend John Dagostino finish 2nd against Phil Ivey. HArd to believe we were playing a 6 way mini at $25 per player just the week before at a friends house and next week he's on live TV. HE is truly a great player whose time to shine is here. Hope I can contribute something worthwhile occaisionally for your enjoyment. I know I will get a ton of help here when DAGGS ain't next to the phone.
