Default Staying at Binion\'s?

Anyone have any experiences with actually getting a room at Binion's? My gf and I were planning on heading for labor day and as you can imagine, the prices a lot higher than usual at most places. For a Fri and Sat night stay, I could score Binion's for $60 a night. Both me and my gf are low-limit poker players (me HE or Stud, her just Stud). In Positively Fifth Street, McManus seems to say pretty good things about the place. Anyone have any experiences they can share? Should I avoid staying there despite the price or is it on par with a typical hotel?

I Stayed there during the WSOP this year and the Horseshoe is a perfectly adaquate hotel. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable. Don't expect crystal glasses or mints on your pillow but other than that it's fine.
