UGH! Harrahs brand of generic 'gaming' all over the Country, and Las Vegas.
More bad games, bad odds, and let's do all we can to get Granny to come play the slots.

This is like hearing the cool little corner resturant with the really good food is being taken over by McDonalds.

McHarrahs sucks!

[/ QUOTE ]

True, it does suck, but its not really like Caesars was some cult mom and pop place. I can't imagine what this is gonna do to Tahoe though. All thats gonna be left is the Ho and Lakeside

Default It\'s a power play

It's a move to counter the Mandalay Bay purchase by MGM......push the "anti-trust" issue to the front of the LVGC's minds.

Well I hope it works. MGM buying Mandalay and Harrah's buying Caesar's looks like it would definately present big anti-trust problems. This will suck for everyone involved (from dealers and servers down to the tourists) except for the shareholders.

Maybe we can have the WSOP at Caesars Palace rather than the Rio.

Interesting article in the Washington Post today about both the MGM/Mandalay Bay and Harrahs/Caesers mergers and the anti trust implications of both.
