Greg,

I had to come out of retirement for this thread.

Congratulations on an amazing achievement.

So what's Greg's bar bill going to be

This was almost as good as winning myself(since that will never happen).

Unbelievable!

You know, following Greg on these forums and on PokerPages the last five days has been one of the most exciting things I think I've ever done ... so I can only imagine what Greg has and is going through.

Congrats, Greg. You deserved it.

[ QUOTE ]
I feel privileged that Greg once told me I played a hand well.

[/ QUOTE ]

I know what you mean.

I've never met Greg, never traded posts with him on this board, etc. But he did answer one of the first two or three posts I ever made here, and it's just a cool feeling. It was neat to have someone to root for in the WSOP.

Greg, congratulations, man.

I stand in awe of what has transpired over the last week. Greg displayed, as Myrtle has pointed out, a complete array of poker skills, and he did it all day long every day, with the added pressure of being the chip leader for the entirety of the last two days. An unmatched eshibition of will and concentration.

Poker pros in 2040 will speak in reverance about what Greg accomplished this year.

Doug
