John Murphy comes over the top of Greg Raymer's preflop raise, and Raymer retaliates by moving all in. Murphy folds, and Raymer shows 8-10. balls of stone |

Eddie Scharf eliminated in 15th by Greg Raymer. Scharf got all in preflop with K-Q against Raymer's Q-Q. The flop came J-9-4-7-4. |

Re: Balls
Okay, we all agree that that was hugely ballsy.
But, why show there? (Other than to let everyone know just how big those cajones are.) Would you show? |

Re: Balls
He is probably not planning on making that play too often. Next time he makes a big all-in move, he will probably want a call.

Re: Balls

So that if you get QQ next hand you eliminate someone. Also it means people have been 'told' that if they come over to steal, they better have the goods. Lori |

Re: Balls
I can't really think of a good reason to show in that situation. He must be trying to set something up for when Murphy tries that again, but it seems like it would be better to leave him guessing. But then again, I'm clicking reload on a browser on my home computer and he's the leading player to win $5,000,000...

Re: Balls
Would he really have to show the hand to get that point across? I think not showing gives the same message that someone better be holding the goods, and it keeps them guessing...
