Default Weak play from the BB?

I ran into this situation a few times over the last few sessions and I'm never sure how to handle it.

Party 1/2

Hero in the BB w J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

MP1, MP2 and CO Call, Hero Checks
MP1 & 2 are fairly new at the table, no solid read. CO has played some hands very well, some very poorly. He seemed to go from LAG to Tight passive depending on if there was a good song on the radio or not.

Flop: J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Hero Bets, MP1 folds, MP2 Calls, CO calls
I bet this to get information. I assume I'm beat if I get a raise and I fold. What are the callers telling me here? Overcards I reckon runner / runner stuff.

Turn 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
Hero Checks, MP2 Checks, CO checks
This was weak. I was lost. Top pair, but no kicker. Can I bet this for value here? I could bet it for information.

River 10 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Hero Bets, MP2 Folds, CO Calls

My Jacks held up on this one.

Thanks,

bet the flop like you did.
bet the turn.
assuming someone calls you on the turn, check/call river.

yo-

you might to go for a check/raise here and get this HU if possible.

if you can you got a good shot of taking the pot on the turn. if a scare card hits on the turn and you get raised, just lay it down.

Yeah... I think everybody gets in this position more than they want.

I think you played it good. I would have come out firing on the turn and fold to a raise. If they slowplay, it usually means you are beat by 2-pair or trips. It is likely with limpers, you probably have the best hand. Don't give a free card that can beat you.

If you get callers on turn... it gets scary... time to check-call.

BTW... what is a Bolli... and how do you trade it?

Bolli is short for Bollinger Bands which are one of the main technical indicators I use for trading the futures markets. Just another one of my many get rich slow schemes... much like poker Also, it is my screen name on Stars.

Thanks all for the responses. You guys are right, I need to come out firing on the Turn. Free cards BAD.

Sublime... If I'm ever at your table remind just how tricky you are. That thought never entered my mind, it will now though
