Default Re: Turbo Texas Holdum six max.

I haven't used Turbo in awhile but I don't think its very useful in terms of learing how to play against the range of opponents you will face in a 6-max game.

The TTH sims are good for determining things such as which hands play better in a certain style of game, etc., but this doesn't actually prepare you for the play of the hands. TTH may also be good for learning which strategies work best against certaan types or classes of players, but it is no game time substitute. You have to be able to recognize the style of your real opponent is using before you can counteract it.

I think you are better off playing 1-2 6-max, where you can learn in a relatively "easy" real environemnt and also generate some profit for your time, and then use TTH to supplement your learing by testing theories or strategies thru simulations.
