I think I played this pretty badly, and I'd like to know what you think

.50/1 10-handed pretty loose table, average 3-5 seeing flop. I've not got any specific reads on anyone.

4 limpers to Hero, who raises. SB folds, everyone else calls

Checked to Hero who bets, all call

I convinced myself EP had me beat. But I wasn't convinced enough to fold, so I just went into calling station mode. Can you please confirm to me just how poor this is?

I would have bet the turn, he either has it or he doesn't. Judging by the tone of your post I guess he didn't.

Hindsight is 20/20 I guess. Playing aggressivly is easier said than done, and I often wonder "what if" myself.

I would raise the turn, if I was raised, I would then go into check-call mode. So, yes, I think the call on the turn was weak. After the call on the turn, I would do the same as you and call down, simply because I don't have enough info to justify a raise, IMHO.
