Default concerning HPFAP \"loose games\"

i'm posting this here because i want to hear from the "micro-limit crowd."

I hate playing crap out of position. i have difficulty knowing when to check-fold out of a hand if i've taken the lead- like a pair of 9s from ep with an overcard or two on the flop.

what is the opinion out there on playing according to HPFAP and in your average loose .50-1 game limping with JJ on down, or limping with AQ or even AK? does that apply to this type of game?

how bout planning on checkfolding the flop if it don't come down pretty? I have to imagine that i'd loose less if i gave up a bit preflop to not trap mayself into loosing situations since i still suck.

any thoughts are appreciated.
