Default Ali-Frazier III On ESPN2 Last Saturday

Whatta fight. And Futch made the worst, most self-weighting move in boxing history by stopping it: A-he believed Joe was ahead, B-without glancing over towards Ali's corner, C-not considering Joe was 31 years old & former champ, not some kid, etc.

I watched most of that also. I think the fight could have continued; he just had a bloody mouth (and eye?). In one more round though Ali may have put him on the canvas, but in a championship fight that is the way it should be - All out until one guy goes down.

Saying, "It was the closest thing to dying that I've ever experienced", Ali was about to give up at that point but Frazier's corner beat him to it. It was supposedly 120 degrees in the ring with maximum Tropical humidity.

In terms of "heart", it had to be the greatest fight in history. Each fighter gave 110%. What a "Thrilla"!!!
