Default SkillPoker

Following the September launch of SkillPoker, I read a number of dubious and degrogatory postings here, enough in fact to make me go check the site out for myself.
The short version is that I played freeroll tournaments there for a month and finished the month with $950.00 cash money in my accout and withdrew half ($475.00), leaving the balance for cash buy-in tournament play of which, after a lot of tournament play, I have $386.00 remaining in my account, for a total of $861.00 with not even a dime of my money put at risk.
The viewable rankings system there does take a bit of learning, but I'm glad that I'm still a 'beginner' and willing to learn something new.

Just curious, what Withdrawal method did you use?

Personally I couldn't get into all but about three freerolls as they always filled too quickly for me to enter, but I'm glad someone around here did good out of it.

The only withdrawal method at this time is by check via FedEx. I haven't received my check yet but several players living closer to the SP business office in British Columbia have told me that they got thier's, one for $1,000 and another for $800.00, so I hope I get mine soon.
Amazingly most players seem to have quit SkillPoker when the freerolls ended, but SP says they will resume freerolls soon, but meantime it's difficult to fill a 16 player tournament

Of course they crashed. During September and part of October most of the tournaments crashed. They were testing a public beta version and we were being paid hundreds of dollars a week in winnings to participate, while exhibiting a little patience with the building system.

Yes, in a way, a shill for SkillPoker in that they paid us whatever we won while using their money as a bankroll, so that they would have some players out there to use and help test the public beta version, but now that part is over and all players are on an equal footing, playing with their own real money, my account there being the $950.00 I won 'shilling', minus a $500.00 withdrawal I made and minus a little I've lost since.
You seem to be putting some derogatory meaning behind the word 'shill' but I worked as a shill for a casino in Vegas for awhile after I went broke at the tables, and in casino parlance a shill is simply someone who is paid to sit and pretend to play at an empty table in hopes of drawing in some active players and in no way does a shill promote or advertise - there is nothing any more wrong in being a shill than there is in being a janitor or a manager.
