I admit that I think c/r'ing flop in hand 1 is superior. This way we don't let him get away from a hand easily. Once the flop is played though, I really like the turn donk. I think it's a nice anti-free card play that puts villain in a tough spot.

I still don't like it, but if hes donking the turn he should be more than willing to fold to another raise...

yeah, the check was lame.

there IS a reason to check here, though: you want to see what kind of hands this guy plays with, and you suspect he will fold if you bet out.

it's -ev in THIS hand, all the way, but may have +ev implications down the line.
