Unless you have a read that the button will almost always bet if checked to on the flop, I think you have to bet here. Shorthanded you'll (hopefully) be taking a lot of stabs at small pots on the flop. Your opponents will pick up on this, so you absolutely must bet out with your good hands as well.

As far as the river is concerned, I'd call expecting to win less than 50% of the time, but more than the 13% necessary for the call to be profitbale.
