You do realize you don't have the odds to call a raise (and even consider a CR) given all of the scenarios you described, right? The only hands that you're ahead of are heart draws that haven't paired up, and they still have 15 outs more or less going to the river. A CR is spew, and has no real semi-bluffing value either. As it is, I think you played it fine.

I realize that I do not have the odds to call this bet, and I never intended to check-raise here. Just was making sure that I am correct in the resons why I did not. Its not as easy to think about the hand while playing it, its much better to consider the possible advantages of a different play afterwards/ In this case there is none. Betting, and folding to a raise on this turn is best.

Ok, let's assume he has a lower pair every single time he 3-bets your turn check-raise. Then you've paid 3BB to draw to a 7BB pot when you could have paid 1. A check-raise still doesn't help you here.
