pot limit omaha
As everyone knows there is not a whole lot of information out there on pot limit omaha. In fact the only really good information I know with it is SSII and Ciaffone's work. This may have been asked before, but I can't find it in the search. Would 2+2 ever consider writing a book on pot limit omaha or is the market just way to small? Also are there any plans to making any books besides for games other than hold'em in the future? I like hold'em, but there are other great games too.

Re: pot limit omaha
There was a similar question a couple of weeks back and Mason said no.
He didn't elaborate but I suspect it is either because, a) the market is too small to make it viable b) they do not have relevant expertise I imagine it is more likely a than b. |

Hold'em is the only poker game left, and you must learn only that one and forget the rest, hehe. I've read those texts as well - There may be other sources out there about it - better of posting in the omaha forum to see what they come up with - specific articles, websites, etc. |

Re: pot limit omaha
You may want to look in the magazine section of the site, and look at Masons article "Hold 'em may be the star, but don't forget other games".
I think this pretty much answers why they are concentrating on Hold'em right now. PJS |

Re: pot limit omaha
The last thing I want is a good book on PLO to get published.
The player pool online so small relative to NLHE/LHE that if that a well-written, accurate, readable book on PLO cash game play would be unwelcome. JMO. BTW, SSII plo chapter is very weak. |
