I hope you are not the best example of efficiency of your school system in teaching your own history. You forget several more colonial conflicts such as Kenya, protecting colonial states from neighboring aggression as in Malaysia, and the British participation in the allied force that intervened in the Russian civil war by capturing Archangel.

you're forgetting the country everyone loves to hate. Israel

1948 war of independence
1956 Suez canal
1967 6 day war
1973 yom Kippur war
1982 Lebanon war
1989 antifada 1
2000 antifada 2

and if prolonged states of war count Israel has never seen peace in its existence

I was saying enough to make a point. It's called self-editing and brevity. You should try it, wonderful for runoff of the mouth (or keyboard), especially for those with pretensions at being better than others by quoting facts/information that others don't feel the need to do, or trying to correct others, whether the situation needs it or not. Otherwise you appear to be overcompensating for your own inadequacies.

Or maybe I should reply with my first answer to your rudeness: boy, I bet you're a fun guy.

I don't remember the US going to war in Bosnia. Do you mean Serbia/Kosovo?
