If he's a solid non-tricky TAG. Yes your done.
BTW I almost had the same hand last night, except high card was a J, they had QQ

Playing a good TAG oop with a mid pp is not what I want to do. You are in the BB, so folding is not good, so I just call here and let him have the lead. He raised UTG so you put him on KQs, AJ-AK, 99-AA. The K is not a good card for you. You're behind quite often. I think you can check/fold this on the flop.

I don't like 3-betting preflop. Folding is probably best, though calling might be OK with a loose raiser and tight BB. Even when he tags along, he won't get in the way often if you're checkraising any flop you choose to play.

If you were in LP, you would probably fold. It's even worse being in the $1 SB, out of position postflop. I used to 3-bet these all the time until I stopped to think about what I was doing.

FWIW, "How Good is Your Limit Hold 'Em" (a generally excellent book, IMO) makes a good argument for folding mid-PPs from the BB versus a legit EP raise in a HU pot.

I fold preflop. You are a significant underdog against his range, you will be out of position, and your pot odds are not good.

Do you 3-bet 88 on the button against a UTG TAG raiser?

Given the raiser in EP, a TAG, and the 1/3 structure, I'd fold without thinking twice.

If this was a button raise, and I was in the bb, then I'd give action.

yep im folding this PF unless the raise is first in from hijack onwards by a position aware preflop raiser, or HU against a 12 -13% + PFRer from any position.

if im playing it the call/raise descision is somehwhat dependant on the BB, but generally im calling. if you call and the BB comes along, then a C/R on the flop is mandatory.

in this particular hand the post-flop play is fine.
