When I first got into poker, I played strictly from the tight chart in SSHE. That said, I won't limp an unsuited KJ/QJ/AT from up front. I will play them suited tho. My PF game, as is natural, has evolved beyond the chart, but it is still a good reference as you are trying to get the 'feel' of full ring. A lot of the hands that you are playing strictly for their high card value shorthanded, lose strength as the pot becomes multi-way. The value of being suited in a many handed pot is of major importance.

I limp KJ/QJ/etc unsuited all day from early position. I also have a high vpip (right at the acceptable limit for this forum, around 22.5-23%). It's a play style that suits me though, so your mileage may vary.
