Default good, bad, ugly??

UTG is 73/12/1.5
Not many hands on MP.

Sorry I'm so not used to playing short handed, just getting back into it. Is the turn raise designed to make the 3rd guy fold and possibly buy us some outs ? If he leads the turn, we're not hoping to make him fold there with a raise are we ? I just always seem to run into a guy holding 33 there, or one of the board cards, and I could use some explanation on that raise, thx.

Yes, that was pretty much my logic. Make UTG fold any overcards or hopefully any pocket pair by facing him with 2 bets on the turn. I don't think MP has a 2 to be calling UTG's preflop raise, I think more likely he has two big suited cards which my AQ can beat, hopefully he doesn't have a PP.

So you think it's +EV to make this play 100% of the time ?

Well, I don't know, that's why I posted it I think I like it when MP is shortstacked, but I'm not 100% sure about if he wasn't, so would like more input. Maybe it's standard, but it's the first time I've made this play.
