First, fold preflop. And no, I don't bet the river. C/c the river. He must have had TPTK or an overpair, but I don't like betting that river. I think you're walking into a trap against A-K too many times. You played it fine. Hell, you won a decent pot with Q-10o, what can you complain about? Well done.

so?
If I stuck my hand in a pool of liquid to see what it was and my hand melted off, i wouldn't stick the rest of my arm in just because I had already lost a hand. or something along those lines.

but losing money (though exciting) is rarely fun. Just think, that was half a joint you tossed into the pot.

I dont that river because U lose to AK and overpair and both are calling/raising. Since he has position on U he is probably calling with AK on the turn but I think it is still a value bet if the board did nt pair. AQ and overpair is still calling. I either dont like the call preflop even if I dont think it is as bad as the other players

Good luck

youre smokin the wrong stuff if it only costs $4 for a J. also, i would defend here. if he has a big hand like aces or kings and you flop 2-pair, you can break him. in other words, you have good implied odds.

No. Just no. Yuck. So you play 7-2 and 8-3 for a raise in the BB too? They flop 2 pair as often as any other hand, right? Might as well play any 2 on any hand.

But you're right, as long as you hit a miracle flop, AND he has a monster, AND he's willing to go broke with 1 pair, you're golden.

What will happen more often is you'll flop top pair and be dominated.
