Re: Flopped Set of Kings - Line Check
The pyschology is that hero got scared.
That was the best possible card to show up on the turn. There isn't a better card in the deck for hero except maybe an ace. Villain's need to improve to play. Hero is way ahead and can afford for them to improve. |

Re: Flopped Set of Kings - Line Check
You can as long as villain's are getting the incorrect odds to call it is EV+. At T250 villain gets ~6:1 implied odds. On the whole there are alot of hands that can call T250. I would think there are more str8 draws here since the flop was rainbow. Maybe T275, T300, but no more.

Re: Flopped Set of Kings - Line Check
Because you want a call. And villain can't call unless he can see that he is getting near fair odds to call. Near fair odds for a gutshot with a pair (like QJ) is 6outs:41 cards or ~1:7. In reality villain only has 4 outs in this case 4:43 or ~1:11.

Re: Flopped Set of Kings - Line Check
Most of them are probably garbage.
I don't see that yours are all that inspiring. |
