That'd be a tad hard to do since he's an active player. Baseball's usually not that forgiving to people who gamble. Back in the early 80's commissioner Bowie Kuhn banned Willie Mays and Mickey Mantle from being involved in baseball for being a greeter at AC casinos.

Not to mention that the fact that it's the middle of baseball season and a two-week poker vacation probably wouldn't go over very well with the team.
