Why? Does Saving Private Ryan win less than 100% of the time?

I really hope so. I will lose all respect for everyone who votes for it over Apocalypse Now and FMJ. Only a poll will tell though.

1) Platoon
2) Hamburger Hill
3) Blackhawk Down

Gardens of Stone - Not really a war movie but great to watch on Memorial Day

Band of Brothers - Not a movie but still excellent

Saving Private Ryan - D-day invasion = outstanding
the rest = meh

Troy

If so, does Top Secret count?

Also thought of another one: Turk 182. And add Uncommon Valor as a borderline "war" movie.
