I just got caught

Your parents sound cool, kinda like mine were when I was in hs/college. At least they're being level-headed.

I was also 19 when my dad found a bag in my coat. He told my mom and they pulled me into the living room right away for a little meeting that lasted all of about 5 minutes.

My mom just cried a little and didn't say anything. My dad told my mom that it was not that big of a deal and not worth crying over. Then he gave me the disappointment speech. Next he told me that I was old enough to make my own decisions but I was not allowed to have drugs in their home. Then he actually handed me the bag and said that he knew I would do the right thing.

I left about 10 minutes later and spent the rest of the day smoking that bag with my friend Nate.

They haven't mentioned that day since and that was 15 years ago.
