Default 99 after min raise and a call level4

Do you think a push is correct here?

Seat 6: CellPhone301 ( $1485 )
Seat 8: NutDangler ( $598 )
Seat 9: runzdum ( $1255 )

Dealt to HERO [ 9c 9d ]
Bows23 folds.

Default Re: 99 after min raise and a call level4

A push here is standard with only 11xBB left. The caller will most likely fold, and the EP raiser's call/fold ratio is read dependent (Is it a standard raise? How often has he been raising?).

I'd feel even better if the raise came from LP, but it's still an easy push. I would expect to be slightly behind EP's calling range. What makes this play profitable is the amount of chips you pick up when they both fold, which is probably 25% - 50% of the time depending on reads.

I'm going to skip the EV calcs because I don't think the decision is close enough to make that exercise worthwhile.

Nice Push, the pot alone is good enough to push your gaining about 50% more of your chips on a fold and a chance to double up
