how to get the bison converter to work
The hand histories now looks something like this:
***** Hand History for Game 2354641797 ***** 50/100 Tourney Texas Hold'em Game Table (NL) (Tournament 13885027) - Tue Jul 12 23:05:23 EDT 2005 Table Table 13973 (Real Money) -- Seat 6 is the button Total number of players : 7 ... They used to look like this: ***** Hand History for Game 2338684063 ***** 15/30 TourneyTexasHTGameTable (NL) (Tournament 13801043) - Sat Jul 09 23:33:50 EDT 2005 Table Table 14922 (Real Money) -- Seat 7 is the button Total number of players : 10 ... So to make it work, change "Tourney Texas Hold'em Game Table" to "TourneyTexasHTGameTable". This worked for me anyway. |

Re: how to get the bison converter to work
I have been unable to get bisonbison to work as well, but dethgrind's suggestion worked.

Re: how to get the bison converter to work
There is a difference between the emailed HH's and the ones Party and skins store on your HD, so it depends on whether you get the hand out of the emailed summary (what dethgrind posted I think) and what you pull out of Poker Tracker if you have them (auto)imported directly off your HD. When you import the summary, PT does not replace any hand already loaded.
So the secret is delete the word "Texas" to make it work. ***** Hand History for Game 2365777921 ***** NL Texas Hold'em $20 Buy-in + $2 Entry Fee Trny:13943404 Level:6 Blinds(100/200) - Friday, July 15, 00:24:22 EDT 2005 Table Table 13805 (Real Money) Seat 3 is the button |

Re: how to get the bison converter to work
OK, I can't get emailed summaries to work in the converter. Slim, are you saying that I need to remove the word Texas from email summaries? If so, I tried, didn't work.

Re: how to get the bison converter to work
No, the OP has the fix for the emailed summary hands. If your header looks like what he posted, do his fix. If it looks like the one I posted, do my fix. You will get one format or the other depending on where you're getting the text for the hand.
If you copy and paste directly from the actual email, dethgrind has posted the proper fix. If you copy and paste from Poker Tracker AND you imported the hand history in question from your hard drive, the header will look different and thus require a different fix. If you loaded the hand history into PT from the email BUT ALSO imported it from your HD first, it will not replace the original text and you will use my fix. |
