Default Anywhere to play cards between LA & Santa Cruz?

I'm planning on driving from Los Angeles to Santa Cruz, to visit a friend, in a couple of weekends. I was wondering if anyone knows of a place (or places) to stop on the way up there to get some food and play some cards? And, if there are places, what sorts of games and action are there?

Thanks.

Handy link. I'm going to be driving from the Bay Area towards points south this week to explore (I'm new here) and this will be great for stopping to play cards on the way.

Once you get up here to the SC, just do yourself a favor and avoid playing in the Ocean View Cardroom at all costs.
