I think I'm gonna finish reading inside the poker mind, and look at some of my Mike Caro DVDs

Gotta love Feeney. It didn't help my game much (what do I do here sort of thing), but it really helped me develop how I thought about the game, and I feel that that's more important. I'd say my favorite essay in there is Strategic Thinking in Holdem. It has great examples of good thought process during a hand.

Self-Weighting Cold Calls can lead to w/t play pf though... be careful. A good essay, but pretty easy to misapply.

I'll get back to studying once I'm done with my summer class. So I'll be doing bioethics this week!

Not as much fun as Jaran. That sounds much more interesting. I'll read it after he's finished with it.

A superb 2772nd post, IMO.

BTW, I think Rick Nebiolo makes a cameo appearance in the Caro tells video. That alone should make that one a "must have" item.

this week I will finish reading TOP, post daily, and reread the overcards section of SSHE. I'm also planning to play 5 hours a day, Monday through Friday, then 2 hours on Saturday before I take off on Sunday for a cross country road trip. I love not having a real job. but I will still study and play on the road, thanks to those neat little wireless Internet devices Sprint has.

Anyone else want to post their study goals for this week?

I need to learn how to protect my hands better, check raises on flop. Re-read those sections in SSHE and try to read hand examples of this concept on this forum. Had a few hands this weekend where the outcome might have been different if I hadn't just bet out.

I'll be studying HEPFAP and hoping something sinks in. I'm leaving for Vegas in the afternoon.

Also try to remember the wisdom of the C/Ts & Pooh-bahs.

I just got SSHE. I'm going to keep reading straight through then take the hand quizzes. Just starting the flop section.
I think I can finish by next weekend.

Oh yeah and spanish, so I can graduate, and GRE so I can get into graduate school.
