Re: People with \"Brown Trout\" screen name variants...
Who cares. If someone wants to advertise to everyone that they are 2+2 let them.
[ QUOTE ] are uncreative and easy to play against. [/ QUOTE ] I think is way too general of a statement, and also not true. Also note that I lead into the pfr on a raggy board with pairs, sets, and very rarely with a draw, so...you are making generalizations again. -Mike |

I think you'll find a lot more people agreeing with me, but I respect your opinion and your posts here.

are uncreative and easy to play against. [/ QUOTE ] I'd considered using a brown trout name when I opened my empire account, but rejected it mostly for reasons of creativity. I'm curious why you think it would make them easy to play against, though. Sure it gives you some general read on their play, but isn't it generally accepted that having a TAG image is a good thing? This has been discussed many times in the archives and the consensus seemed to be that having a TAG image allowed you to steal more pots, get free cards more often, etc. Wouldn't the "brown trouts" only be outplayed by the most expert of players, who presumably would have been able to make reads on them fairly easily anyway? ~Magic_Man |

Re: People with \"Brown Trout\" screen name variants...
because there is a 2+2 "style" of play, that imo, when given away by the screen name, becomes easier to play against.

thanks for the visual aid. i finally get the running 2+2 joke. [/ QUOTE ] Specifically: Salmo trutta (fish) The brown trout was introduced around the world for aquaculture, and stocked for sport fisheries. It is blamed for reducing native fish populations, especially other salmonids through predation, displacement, and food competition. |

[/ QUOTE ] Right, just know that they are a thinking player (probably) and you can put them on a hand. On a side note to BusterStacks did you get that image from the google image search? I just got it from there 2 days ago to make my avatar |
