Alright, thanks guys. Villian did indeed have AJo this hand, but I think you're still right.

You have 8-10 outs. [/ QUOTE ] Correct, I had forgotten about the OESD when I was writing. I still like a bet out, call, and check-fold on that river. -d |

Re: 66 - How do you like my turn and river?
why no turn bet? I think you're still ahead a lot here, and the OESD is like extra insurance against the possibility of AK. makes me feel all warm inside.
EDIT: wow I got to the party late. |

Re: 66 - How do you like my turn and river?
I agree that when you check raise the flop OOP, not betting the turn is mistake. The K could easily be a scare card for him and might make hime fold. If he has KQ/KJ/AK, you will get raised, but will still have 10 outs if he indeed holds one of these hands. On the flop he could be holding one of many hands that beat you (77-AA), but no monster, because he did not 3-bet the flop. However, with 77-AA, he may have just called your flop raise intending to raise your turn bet with 88-AA. As you played it I would have bet the turn, called a raise, and then check/folded the river. AT/AJ/JT/33/22 seem to be the only hands you can beat here. Interesting though that his aggression factor is 1.0? I'm very aggressive and would not attempt this villain's line here with AJo.

Re: 66 - How do you like my turn and river?
couple of question...I know this is pretty basic but when you say you have.... 71 hands on a guy and he's a 55/11/1 on a player what are you saying?? I don't have pokertracker and only played with it a couple of times.
In this hand, would you have played it any different against an unknown? Would you maybe bet out and take the lead on all streets? Betting out is my preferable way to go here imo unless you think villian is a guy who will bet with nothing and fold to your pressure. |
